UTAH Churches Reject Immigration Law

This past Tuesday an immigration law entered the state of Utah, Senate Bill 81. The law allows policemen to enforce immigration laws. Various religious organizations are not happy with this; ‘Roman Catholic, Greek Orthodox, and Protestant leaders’ had previously joined in hopes of a better outcome. The law has been stated to be a ‘symbol of a broken community’ and its repeal has been called for.
